Grand Rounds today are an integral component of medical education. They present clinical problems in ophthalmology by focussing on current or interesting cases and are also utilised for dissemination of new research information.
Each event covers a specific ophthalmic sub-specialty with live patients for examination and case discussions. Ophthalmic specialists from across south east Queensland are invited to present patients as a case discussion during the evening. Depending on the complexities of the topic as little as 3 or as many as 8 patients are reviewed.
All Grand Rounds are held at the Queensland Eye Institute Auditorium, on Level 2, at 140 Melbourne Street South Brisbane. Please click here for on-site parking information.
From 6:30pm on 29 May 2019
Remote access is available throughout Queensland, please advise at least 24 hours prior to the evening. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange.
Grand Rounds is approved for 1 CPD point per hour by the RANZCO CPD committee. Please put these dates in your diary – especially for your subspecialty.
