Jane Dodds

Community Relations Manager

Jane Dodds joined the Queensland Eye Institute Foundation in 2012. She is passionate about fostering meaningful community relationships and is well known by many of our long term supporters. Jane is responsible for keeping members of our community up to date on the latest research projects, advancements and educational events.

Anna Blake

Clinical Services Manager

Anna Blake has a wealth of experience in managing diverse medical practices. In July 2010 Anna joined the Queensland Eye Institute team as Clinical Services Manager. She has a Bachelor of Business in Health Information Management and has extensive management experience in the health industry having worked in general practice, insurance injury claims, allied health, specialist practices and day hospital environments.

Kelly Langdon

Chief Operating Officer

Kelly Langdon has been associated with the Queensland Eye Institute since 2004 in a General Management consulting capacity. Kelly’s qualifications included a Bachelor of Human Resource Management and Economics.

Kelly enjoys the variety and scope of working with the Queensland Eye Institute; it provides the opportunity to bring commercial business to the not for profit sector

Professor Mark Radford

Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer

Prof. Mark Radford has been Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer for the Queensland Eye Institute since March 2010.

Mark completed his first undergraduate degree at Flinders University of South Australia in 1978. After being awarded a Japanese Government (Mombusho) Fellowship, Mark completed his Doctor of Medicine at Nagasaki University School of Medicine in 1992. During this period he also completed a PhD at Flinders University (1989).

Mark started his working career as a research academic (lecturer and later Associate Professor) at Hokkaido University in Japan. Between 1993 and 2003, Mark served as a consultant to a number of government and private organisations worldwide, before returning to Hokkaido University to become Professor within the Department of Behavioural Science.

In 2006, Mark returned to Australia to become CEO and Managing Director of Symbiosis Group Limited – a life science investment, management and commercialisation company based in Brisbane, Australia, before joining the Queensland Eye Institute.

Mark has extensive experience in research (especially in the areas of clinical research, research ethics, and clinical trials), as well as medical research investment and commercialisation. He has published and taught in the fields of medicine, governance, leadership and decision-making.

Mark is a member of a number of professional associations. He is a Fellow (Hon) of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, and also of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Australian Institute of Management (AIM).
