Glaucoma Day Success!

16 Mar, 2020

Recently, QEIF hosted an event in support of World Glaucoma Week.

Guests were invited to join us for a free morning tea and information seminar with presentations from key stakeholders in the field of glaucoma.

Thanks to our speakers;

  • QEIF CEO Professor Mark Radford
  • QEI Clinic’s Dr Brendan Cronin
  • QEIF Community Relations Manager Jane Dodds
  • Melissa Eckersley, Mother of young QEI glaucoma patient Oscar
  • Glaucoma Australia CEO Annie Gibbins
  • Head of QIMR Berghofer’s Statistical Genetics Group, Associate Professor Stuart MacGregor
  • Quantum’s State Manager Peter Cracknell

An extra special thanks to all of our guests who attended and showed their support. After an overwhelming amount of positive feedback, we hope to make Glaucoma Day a yearly event!

Here at QEI & SBDH, the health and safety of our patients and staff is of the highest priority. That's why we are taking measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

We kindly ask all patients and visitors of the clinic to not enter the building if they are feeling unwell (fever, cough, sore throat or flu symptoms), have been overseas in the last two weeks or have been in contact with a known case of COVID-19.

Please contact us on 07 3239 5000 to reschedule your appointment if this applies to you. Our clinic staff are taking extra precautions through the use of face masks and extra santising measures. We would like to thank all patients and visitors for their cooperation and understanding at this time.
